MBA Managerial Finance: AI Sector Analysis & Financial Evaluation

In this team analysis, my co-authors and I tested our hypothesis using advanced financial modeling built with Claude AI. We argue that the AI sector is overvalued and will correct at two speeds: a fast, severe repricing at the credit-financed edge (CoreWeave, Applied Digital), and a gradual re-rating at the core (Microsoft, Alphabet, Amazon, NVIDIA).

MBA Business Finance: Financial Investment Analysis — Educational ROI Comparison

  • Key insight applied: IRR measures efficiency; NPV measures magnitude
  • Evaluated two educational investment paths for a client: a 1-year Tier 3 Network Design Certification vs. a 3-year MBA program
  • Built financial models using NPV, IRR, and Future Value analysis across two discount rate scenarios (4.79% and 7%)
  • Determined the MBA’s higher upfront cost was fully justified, yielding a $340K NPV and $1.75M projected future value, significantly outperforming the certification on long-term return
  • Applied time value of money principles to a real client scenario, translating complex financial metrics into a clear, actionable recommendation

HICC Pet: Brand Strategy & Ecommerce

My Brand Strategy Methodology: I start with the market, then the customer, then the brand.

At HICC Pet, my title was product and ecommerce, but I built the rebrand strategy for our products (dog and cat wipes and hypochlorous acid spray) with my team. I researched competitors like Earth Rated and Vetericyn, figured out which channels to prioritize across Chewy, Amazon, Petco, and our own site, and built personas around urban pet owners who wanted convenient, premium grooming. Then I turned that into a brand guidelines book so our marketing and APAC team spoke with one voice, and I launched a Bazaarvoice sampling program to test brand perception with real customers.

Omni-channel campaign strategy:

Each quarter I lead a campaign built around one central idea. Before anything launched, I draw two maps: a channel map that ranked every channel by priority and defined the tactics, and a customer journey map from discovery through consideration, purchase, and retention. That told me what each channel was responsible for. Then I assigned each channel one metric that fit its job: open rate for email, click-through for the website, sales for conversion. At the end of the quarter my team looked at what worked and carried it into the next quarter campaign plan. That’s how we got email open rates from 6% to 20%.

Key achievements:

  • Tripled open rates from 6% to 20% for quarterly Pet Parent Month campaign
  • Achieved 200% increase in email-driven customer retention
  • Led trade show marketing strategy, designing pre-event email campaigns, on-site activations, and post-event engagement to maximize event ROI
  • Collaborated with international teams across APAC region to align and execute global marketing strategy
